Menjalankan Docker OTBR

OpenThread Border Router (OTBR) memerlukan node RCP Thread untuk bergabung ke jaringan Thread. Docker OTBR menyediakan dukungan untuk RCP fisik (dongle OpenThread) atau RCP simulasi.

Melampirkan RCP

Gunakan platform OpenThread yang didukung untuk RCP fisik. Lihat langkah Mem-build dan mem-flash RCP dari panduan Build dan Konfigurasi OpenThread Border Router untuk mengetahui informasi selengkapnya.

  1. Setelah mem-build dan mem-flash, pasang perangkat RCP ke mesin yang menjalankan Docker OTBR melalui USB.
  2. Tentukan nama port serial untuk perangkat RCP dengan memeriksa /dev:
    ls /dev/tty*
    /dev/ttyACMO
    

Membuat file lingkungan OTBR

Buat file otbr-env.list untuk menyimpan variabel lingkungan Docker OTBR.

  • OT_RCP_DEVICE: Menentukan koneksi ke Thread Radio Co-Processor (RCP).

  • OT_INFRA_IF: Antarmuka jaringan yang digunakan untuk jaringan infrastruktur yang berdekatan (biasanya Wi-Fi atau Ethernet).

  • OT_THREAD_IF: Nama antarmuka jaringan yang digunakan untuk jaringan Thread.

  • OT_LOG_LEVEL: Tingkat panjang log yang dihasilkan oleh OpenThread.

Memulai container Docker OTBR

Buat dan jalankan penampung baru dari image OTBR.

docker run --name=otbr --detach --network=host --cap-add=NET_ADMIN --device=/dev/ttyACM0 --device=/dev/net/tun --volume=/var/lib/otbr:/data --env-file=otbr-env.list --restart=always openthread/border-router
  • docker run: Perintah dasar untuk menjalankan penampung Docker.

  • --name=otbr: Menetapkan nama "otbr" ke penampung yang sedang berjalan. Hal ini mempermudah referensi ke penampung nanti untuk tindakan seperti menghentikan, memulai, atau memeriksanya.

  • --detach: Menjalankan penampung dalam mode terpisah, yang berarti berjalan di latar belakang dan tidak melampirkan terminal ke streaming input, output, atau error standar penampung.

  • --network=host: Membuat penampung menggunakan stack jaringan mesin host secara langsung. Hal ini sering kali diperlukan untuk OTBR, karena memerlukan akses langsung ke antarmuka jaringan.

  • --cap-add=NET_ADMIN: Memberikan kemampuan NET_ADMIN ke penampung. Hal ini diperlukan agar penampung dapat melakukan tugas administrasi jaringan, seperti mengonfigurasi antarmuka jaringan dan perutean.

  • --device=/dev/ttyACM0: Memetakan perangkat /dev/ttyACM0 host ke dalam penampung. Ini biasanya adalah port serial yang terhubung ke Thread Radio Co-Processor (RCP). Nama perangkat tertentu (ttyACM0) dapat bervariasi bergantung pada sistem Anda.

  • --device=/dev/net/tun: Memetakan perangkat /dev/net/tun host ke dalam penampung. Hal ini diperlukan untuk membuat dan menggunakan antarmuka jaringan virtual, yang digunakan oleh OTBR.

  • --volume=/var/lib/otbr:/data: Memasang direktori host /var/lib/otbr ke dalam penampung di /data. Hal ini memungkinkan penampung mempertahankan data, seperti konfigurasi jaringan, meskipun penampung dihentikan atau dimulai ulang.

  • --env-file=otbr-env.list: Membaca variabel lingkungan dari file yang ditentukan dan menetapkannya dalam penampung. Variabel lingkungan ini kemungkinan merupakan parameter konfigurasi untuk OTBR.

  • --restart=always: Mengonfigurasi daemon Docker untuk otomatis memulai ulang penampung jika berhenti. Hal ini memastikan bahwa OTBR selalu berjalan. openthread/border-router: Ini menentukan image Docker yang akan digunakan untuk penampung. Dalam hal ini, ini adalah image OpenThread Border Router resmi.

Jalankan ot-ctl

ot-ctl adalah utilitas command line yang menyediakan cara untuk berinteraksi dengan OpenThread Border Router (OTBR) atau perangkat OpenThread. Dengan begitu, Anda dapat mengontrol dan memantau jaringan OpenThread dari komputer host.

Untuk menjalankan ot-ctl:

docker exec -it otbr ot-ctl
